Why we exist
Every transfer window, a new 17-year-old is crowned "the next" somebody. Most of them aren't. We built FableFjorJingleRocket to explain how professionals actually judge young players — so fans can enjoy the hunt without swallowing every headline.
How we work
We watch matches, read club and federation material, study public data and cross-check facts against reliable sources. When something is a reported figure rather than a confirmed one, we say so. When we're guessing about a player's future, we label it as a projection.
Independence
We are not affiliated with any club, league, player agency, betting company or game publisher. Nobody pays us to rate a player. Football Manager is mentioned because our readers love it, not because of any partnership.
Protecting young players
Many of the players we discuss are minors. We stick to on-pitch observations, never publish private details and remove content on reasonable request from a player or guardian.
